The winery located on the Sanctuary devoted to Saint Anthony of Padua was born as a natural evolution of the constant work of six generations.
Since 1890, we pay attention to the smallest details through our work and we prefer to work on a human scale, through all operations during the year, from pruning to harvesting.
Grapes are vinified at the best moment, following old traditions such as hand picking.
We use modern principles of vinification in order to offer wine which is always adequate to the refined palate of current customers.

The Sanctuary, where the Azienda Agricola Cascina Cappelle is located, is named after an ancient chapel from the 1700’s, devoted to Saint Anthony of Padua. From 1730, the chapel was surrounded by the small church on top of the hill and 13 chapels were built to give life to the representation of the “Way of the Cross”. In 1750, 4 other chapels were added along the access road.
